THE GREY COUNTY 11USIC FESTIVAL .
This festi:val, held in Owen Sound,. proved to be 'a. wonderful success for the C.D.C.I. Concer.t Band. The tnnd., playi ng against the O.S.C.V.I Concert Bsl-nd, won
first prize with a total of ninety marks out of a possible one hundred. As 11'76r<JOiltJ says, "Nice going, Band.- Keep up the good work!"
............ THE JUNIOR BAl\fD
The best students of the Grade Nine music classes were chosen by Mr. Hollier to form a Junior Band. The bnnd prdv1.des training for those pJ yers who will graduate into the Senior Band vvhen they become eligible though tests which determine musical knowledge, ability, and p·rogre·ss·. The best members of this ba~ atso play by the side of gond members of the Senior Band in the school
