The Ski Club, now in its tbird year, bas bad a very good season.

pegan fairly early, tbe Friday nigbt skiing parties did not get under way until
sbortly after Cbristmas. A tow, running for the first time, contributed greatly to tbe success of tbe Evenings.
In tbe racing section, entbusiasm was bigb, witb many ski club members competing in various races in tbe zone. Tbe highlight of this year's racing
for the school was the inter-scholastic ski meet held in conjunction with Barrie '" and Orillia. Collingwood swept the meet witb Don and stu McKay winningtbe Junior and Senior Boys' Giant Slalom, a nd Anna Weider and Sbiela Soulsby scoring in tbe
q.irls'. The X-Country was won by IvIarino Rich in the Girls" and Pete Barton, of Orillia, in the BC?ys'. We hope to mak.e tbese races an annual event witb more and more skiers competing. Special thanks is giVEn to Mr. Titus who g3ve up bis time and energy in tbe organization of X-Country outings and the IntEr-scholastic Meot.
. We bope tbat the Ski Club will continue to grow as more and more people in tbe school begin to take part in one of the more enjoyable winter sports.

LIBRARY CLUB 195,(-1958 .
The Library Club started in September for its second year witb an~Drolment of eigbteen members. Meetings are beld once a month. Two members come in to tbe library eacb nigbt to cbeck out books and to see tbat order is,restored to tbe shelves. Mnny new:books were purcha~ed and tbese are now circulating in tbeir new plastic covers. Defaced books were removed from tbE sbelves and "sablo books
