As the Gleaner goes to press, the Club is in the midst of rehearsals for the March production of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Heading the cast of forty are: Andrew Markle as Brutus; Walter Borthwick as Cassius; David Butters as Mark Antony; Doug Webb as Gasca; Kathryn Ruppert as Portia; and Judy Watson as Calpurnia.
Yards of taffeta, being sewn under the supervision of Mrs. Leach, will provide costumes; Mr. Ridley is at work on armour and other props; Mr. Hollier is rehearsing a brass choir for the fanfares.
The Club's present plans include two nights of one-act plays to be presented during fhe spring term.
