The Ski Trail
The Ski Club hcs been very successful this year through the co-operation of the Physical Education Department, the Blue f'v\ountain Resorts, and the student body skiing enthusiasts.
Since skiing has been encouraged among our students, more Coli ingwood skiers have been seen en joying themselves out on the slopes.
Every week, ski equipment is rented to students and they are provided transportation and tows at a nominal fee. This arrangement has helped to solve the problem for those who wanted to learn to ski but couldn't because of Iack of finances or courage. For a small membership fee, students become Club members and are given the privilege of joining the weekly ski excursions.
The Ski Club has several competitive skiers who have been very successfLd in winning awards and ·trophies and have helped in the development of the Club and Skiing in general.
Although much has been decided for the future plans of the Ski Club activities, not all the threads are tied. For further information and activities, join the Ski Club and help plan or take part in future activities.
