Badminton

The badminton club has had a moderate season, but attendance slackened after Christmas. However, those members who have remained faithful have proved themselves to be proficient in the game.
Despite this and other drawbacks, a number of enjoyable evenings were held with the teachers and some district schools. The club's wizards on the court were Marilyn Pearen and Claire Sproule. On February 3rd, the students challenged the staff to an evening behind the nets, an evening which was both invigorating and enjoyable.
It is hoped, that with their basic knowledge and your support, next year will be a successful and profitable year for the members of the badminton club.
