Army Cadets
This year the Army Cadets have been conducted on a voluntary basis. Senior instroctors and officers alike were gratified over the turno~;t. The newly formed Officers' Corps are assuming most of the responsibility under the guidance gf Mr. Smith, Chief Instructor.
Training started early in October, at which time uniforms and egtripm;;t were-handed out. ~Cadetsmeet every Wednesday at 3:15P.M. in the gym. All phases of the training program a(e going forward with good results. The Inspection will be held early in the spring.

SIGNALS GROUP
Mr. Smith has been instructing a small group for the Signals Corps. This ~roup has attained fair proficiency
in sending and receiving Morse code. A great deal of interest was express ain the operation or the "Nineteen" and "Twenty-six" sets. /

The main competition this year IS the "Youth of the Em8ire" shoot using small-bore weapons. Next year1 however, it is hoped we will be able to enter other competiti ns using fihe cadets trained this year as a nucleus. There is at least one more day planned for Camp Borden in the spring when the "Strathcona" and "Cadet
Hundred Roll" will be fired. This time the whole corps will fire.
