Current Events Club
A silent force, active throughout 1960-61, was the Current Events Club, whose v.orthy members kept their fingers constantly on the world's pulse. Through careful scanning of several prominent international newspapers every fact of world intrigue was noted.
Wishing only members with a genuine interest in current events, the club remains small and its activities rather obscure to the student body; however we feel that they have appreciated our attempts to bring incidents of importance to their attention.
We thank Mr. Smith for his time and efforts and hope that 1961 presents us with a long line of engrossing current events.

Unfortunately many students are not familiar with the various activities of agricultural students attending our school.

(6) This year's Grade XII students spent a day visiting the Ontario Agriculture College during the proceedings
of College Royal. It was so inspiring that one student enrolled in the diploma course.
(7) At the time of writing, all agriculture students are looking with anticipation to the results of forcing
bulbs into bloom during the winter season.
Teacher: "This is the fifth time I've had to punish you this week. What have you to say for yourself?" Jim Hewson: "Boy, I'm glad it's Friday."
During the past summer Chris Roberts was told to harness a horse in the cool, early hours of the morning. In the dark he tackled a cow instead. The farmer shouted from the house, "Say there, what's keeping you so long?"
"I can't get the collar over his head," shouted Chris. "Both his ears are frozen solid."
