?tee e.e.1. A highlight of the Band's activities this
year was the trip to Indiana in April of 1963. The four days were packed with interesting events and experiences, including three con- certs given by the band, one at London, Ontario, one at Vincennes, Indiana, and a third at Lafayette, Indiana. In Detroit, the band toured the Henry Ford Museum.
New uniforms, supp1ied through Thompson's Men's W ear of Collingwood, have given the band this year, a colourful and we hope, pleasing appearance.
As usual, the Band has contributed to the
effectiveness of school functions such as the Commencement, the Assemblies, and the opening of the new Technical Wing. At. this last event, our band was highly praised by Mr. A. Gamble, Assistant Supervisor of Secondary Education for the Province.
The thanks of the Band go to all who have supported and encouraged our efforts, and especially to Mr. James Knights, our capable Director, whose patient leadership and firm guidance have done so much to keep the Band alive and flourishing.
