 W. J. MALLEY Chairman of the Board
Never before has a good education been so necessary to achieve success--yes, one might say "to survive." Governments, Departments of Education, and School
Boards are all very concerned for the future. They are doing everything possible to offer you--the student--the opportunities for a better education.
Even the most menial occupations now require better education, and it follows that the better educated get the better positions.
Students attending C. C. I. are very fortunate. We have a modern school, well-equipped, well-staffed, and with a good transportation system. Now with our new Vocational wing, even those who are not academically inclined, are being given opportunities that can lead to good positions.
May I urge you, the student, to take full advantage of these opportunities.
"IT'S UP TO YOU"
In closing, on behalf of the Board, I wish success to
the Gleaner Staff, and to all others taking part in our school's various activities during this 1963-64 school year.
W. J. Malley
Chairman of the Board.
