This year's edition of the Junior Basket- ball team, under rookie Coach Kemp, fought its way to an eight win, seven loss record. Third place finishers in the League, they also were runner-up in two tournaments held at Stayner and Owen Sound.
Mike Scott, captain and right-forward, and John Wickstrum, the centre, were the two most consistent scoring threats, hitting four- teen and ten points averages respectively.
Lloyd Harrison, a high-jumping guard, provided the best defensive rebounding and

also hooped four points a game. George Palmer played the other guard spot and also had a four point average. The fifth man complimenting this starting lineup was Dave Homuth.
Robert Pazzi and Garry Clark, both of whom along with Harrison played on the 62 - 63 Junior Championship squad, headed a strong bench that also had Nelson Jones, Roy Dahl, Reid Stewart and Archie Robinson, the latter three all having another year ofJunior eligibility left.
