IN MEMORIAM Doug Dowling
To gilt the face of destiny
He gave of himself wit, perfection, and human courage.
He gave of himself that we may survive, And yet she took a ring from her finger and
placed it in his hand.
Now the torch of life has been erased,
Yet shall it kindle in the hearts of men.
Virtues of man! Yet in a (little) moment it ' was no more
For he standing solo was sentenced! And so she took a ring from her finger and placed it in his hands.

SPRING MORNING Judy Crevier
The sun shines bright on the dew sprinkled trees Enchanting the morning with little effort or ease The light that springs from these God sent gems Is reflected from each leaf again and again.
The willow bends over the babbling brook
The reflection is like magic from a fairy tale book For the rocks seem to sing and the water to dance And the willow looks, on engulfed by a trance.
A breeze whispers by, the grasses do bend Gracefulness, beauty to this·scene they do lend The gentle rustling that this movement causes Makes a solitary figure stop and pause.
He stands, appreciation written on his face
But on the painting he holds, there is not a trace True beauty you see , is too hard to find
That no one can express it in words, or by sign.
