Last summer I represented the Collingwood Collegiate Institute at the Ontario A thletic Leadership Camp in Orillia.
The Camp itself is ideal for any sports enthusiast with its huge gymnasium, tennis courts , swimming areas, golf course , tracks, playing fields, basketball courts, and almost every kind of equipment imaginable.
But the Camp's main purpose was leader- ship training and development of athletic skills which would aid your school in the, following years.
Individual thinking and planning, along with punctual and responsibleorganization was neces- saryfor the daily camp schedule, and these were the qualities of leadership which we were taught to appreciate. The excellent instructions enabled the best possible coaching in every activity.
I gratefully thank the Physical Education departm ent and the Collingwood Collegiate Institute Board for giving me this wonderful opportunity to attend the O.A. L.C.
