The annual school golf tournament was held on September 19 and 20 to decide the school golf team. Twenty competitors turned out to play for the 6 places on the school team. Allen Reid won the Ross Henderson Trophy as Senior champion by shooting an 18 hole score of 75. Although tied with Roy Dahl after 18 holes;. "Abe"won a sudden death play-offwith a birdie on the first hole. Brian Barker shot a 79 to emerge as Intermediate cham- pion while Chris Cooke and Mike White were tied at 83 in the Junior division.
The G.B.S.S.A. tournament was held at Sharon G. and C. C. near Newmarket on Oct. 5. The C. C. I. team consisted of Allen Reid and Roy Dahl (SENIORS), Brian Barker and Steve Hogg(INTER- MEDIATES) and M. White and Chris Cooke (JUNIORS). Although they just missed placing in the top 3, they all played consistently and had an
enjoyable time. Allen Reid had the best score(79) and placed 5th in the Senior division. The team can look forward next' year optimistically because all of this year's players will be returning _again.
