CHESS CLUB

The Chess Club, a new addition to the many extra-curricu- lar activities at CCI, was formed this year by Mr. Y euzeroff, a Math teacher and John MacLean, a Grade Nine student.
The Chess Club meets every Wednesday night in Room 142 from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m. The Club's membership consists of approximately thirty students.
Weekly schedules are drawn up and records are kept of the person's wins or losses. These will aid in m atching opponents in the tournament planned. Although this tourna- mentis not restricted to the Chess Club members only, they have a better chance of winning because they attend the meet- ings, making true the saying 'Practice makes perfeCt' al- though there is really no perfection in the game of Chess.
