This year the Echo made progress in one way, and lost some in another.
We feel that the content of the paper has been better. Our issues have been much larger in size because of some 'feat- ures' we have been running. We began a Maude the Mod column, the 'IT' series and a series on school organizations. The 'IT' series was a follow-up to an article which was cen- sored last year. 'IT' lost some of its value because we were unable to run in regularly.
As far as 'backward progress' is concerned, we started off much more disorganized. This is partly due to myself being a new editor. As a result, issues came out late, pages were confused and typing was poor. We tried to have our papers typed by a regular staff, but this failed, so we are reverting back to class typists, I hope.
As I said, content and quantity have improved and I hope will continue to do so in the future.
