The GAA executive for 1969-70 worked extremely hard to make the year a successful and enjoyable one.
The intramural sports, which included volleyball, basketball and track and field, were organized and completed on schedule. The participation by the students was terrific.
Sports Night and the annual Twirp Dance were again highlights of the year.
The introduction of some new clubs such as the Folk Dance Club, added variety to the year's agenda. The G.A.A. also kept in touch with various schools in the area comparing and contrasting the system
of each school.
The major item on the agenda was the revision of the constitution of the G.A.A. After many hours of
debating and hard work the executive finally came up with this important masterpiece.
I would like to thank personally my executive and members of the Physical Education Staff for
