The Ontario Athletic Leadership Camp
is operated by the Ontario Department of Education. The camp is designed to provide leadership training in school and community activities by means of administering, officia- ting, teaching and coaching athletics. It
also provides an opportunity for community living in a camp setting. Some of the courses consist of swimming, basketball officiating, football, gymnastics, tennis, folk dancing, and leadership development.
Each year our school sends one
boy and one girl to represent the school, for a period of two weeks during July or August. The students are chosen by the Physical Education staff on academic and arhletic abilities.
We would like to thank the staff for the privilege of choosing us to attend O.A.L.C. and we hope we have fulfilled the objectives of the course successfully.
