There is another trophy back in the C. C. I. showcase. It is the Collingwood Cup, won by our own ski team this year for the first time since 1949.
But the honours don't stop there, by any means. We also hold the G. B.S. S. A . championship. Just to keep their record perfect, the Ski Team won the All-Ontario for C. C. I.
There are also a few trophies around for individual victories. These include Ron Westlake - 1st in giant slalom- all-Ontario, Kevin Titus- 1st in slalom, all-Ontario, Jane Perry- 1st in 3 km. cross-country at Horseshoe ·Valley (G. B. S. S. A. ), Jim Goodwin- cross-country Midland Invitational Meet, Helen Coates- 3rd in cros&-country G. B.S. S. A. at Horseshoe Valley.
There are no words to express how proud C. C. I. is of the Ski Team. Let's hope other C. C. I. teams will follow suit next year, and bring home still more trophies to Collingwood!
