C.B.M.S. is a new organization to CCL It was student organized for thr purpose of producing television programmes for community use, and also to offer a first-hand experience to students interested in this media.
It now has approximately 50 members operating out of one studio, and are presently working on the erection of a second.
All equipment is supplied by Collingwood Cable TV and the SCBE. The production cost of the program- mes come directly from the pockets of the students, or from any donations received from the community .
Due to its overwhelming success, CBMS is making an application to the "opportunities for Youth" grant to sponsor its summer program. Their aim is to give Collingwood its very own TV station from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.daily for 11 weeks in the summer.
