The chess club is, at the time of writing, engaged in a furious series of tournaments with the other schools of Simcoe County. About eight tournaments are held throughout the year, at the end of which the top team and top individual will receive a trophy. We are holding second place among nine teams. This is largely due to the supreme effort of all six members of Team No. 1. Congratulations!
