Junior Football Team

For the junior football team, the season of '72 was both exciting as well as heartbreaking. Although the overall size of the team was small, the moral of the club and the drive to be the best gave CCI the hope for a successful football season. Evidence of this was given in the first and third games as we smothered Base Borden 19-0 and later defeated Central41-8.
Unfortuately though, as the season progressed, injuries took their toll and were a major factor in forc- ing us to miss the playoffs by one game.
The club finished the season with 2 wins and 4losses and third place in the league.
