1926-1952
This collegiate was erected on the site of the previous school and on May 18, 1925 the corner stone was laid by Will- iam Williams. Today the school is known as Senior Public.

In days of yore, ere Noah built the ark,
Someone left some bricks near the old town park,
They piled them high, and hung some doors thereon, And built some wire fences just to keep us off the lawn.

Oh, it's glorious, simply glorious,
We're here to make the CCI victorious, We'll tell the world with shouts uproarious, We represent the good old CCI.
September comes and brings another crowd,
Of young first formers trooping down the road, They all are bound for the famous CCI,
To get an education and some pleasure on the sly.
By nine each day we are ready for our work,
The staff, they keep us at it, woe betide us if we shirk, There's Latin, English, Chemistry and Tech,
Almost before we know it we're in work up to our neck.
Last verse of all to our graduates we sing,
They're all chucked full of wisdom and they know most everything.
We wish them luck, and as the years roll by,
They'll always find a welcome at the good old CCI.
