This year's C.C.I. Soccer Team was as successful as any soccer team in the history of C.C.I.
Finishing the season with five victories in six games, while allowing less than a goal a game to be scored against them, the "Celtics" went on to capture the G.B.S.S.A. Zone 2 championship, thus qualifying for the semifinals. Although handicapped by injuries to key players, the team played two periods of overtime before bowing to Almahuin C.I. and being eliminated.
Stan Keith was the team high scorer with seven goals, and goaltender Randy Berriault ended the season with four shutouts.
The team would like to thank coaches Traynor and Beckett for their time and instruction, as well as the stud- ents of C.C.I. for their support.
