1. The Boys' Golf Team, of Gregor Knight, Martin Price, Dave Redick and John Liotta had a very successful year. They placed second in the Midland tournament which is the best finish in the last 8 years. At GBSSA the team was only % of a stroke per player off the winning team putting them in 2nd which is the best we have done in 13 years of competition. Leslie Price was low girl in all her tournaments. Congratula- tions on a fine season! 2. Since the Gleaner is finished before

our season is in full swing, we cannot give competition results. The team will be competing in 5 major tournaments as well as zones, GBSSA and hopefully OFSSA. The team is composed of 2 teams each in boys' doubles, girls' doubles, mixed doubles, girls' and boys' singles. Early indications are for a strong effort this year as the team has some strong holdovers from last year, as well as some beginners. 3. As is usually the case with tennis,
competition was limited to Zone and GBSSA tournaments. At the Zone in Barrie our strength proved to be in the mixed doubles where David Meacher and Julia Brown beat Chris Doner and Trish VanBoxmeer in an all Collingwood final, both couples thus qualifying for the GBSSA finals. There they per- formed creditably against strong competition. All members represented the school well both on and off the court.
