Boys:
The season for boys golf began early in September with the school tournament at Blue Mountain. The top scores were: Martin Price 65, Mike Willette 72, Gregor Knight 77, John Liotta 77. The above four boys then travelled to Midland for their second tournament. The team finished second with Martin Price leading the way with a 78. With the above tournaments behind, our team was looking for- ward to a good showing at GBSSA. However our practice and hard work was for naught, as the GB tournament was postponed due to weather until spring.
Girls:
The main tournament for girls was the GBSSA tournament. We didn't have enough girls for a team but Leslie Price participated anyway and won the low gross.
Both Leslie and Martin Price have performed well in many tour- naments outside the school. They both plan to use their golf ability to assist in their post secondary education. Good luck to both of you in your golfing futures.
