This year the American history classes travelled to the United States spending several days studying the living history of that nation. The groups divided their time among Gettysburg Penn - sylvania (The major Civil War Battlefield) , Washington D.C. (The Nation's capital) , Mt. Vernon (George Washingtons resorted plantation) , Colonial Williamsburg (The totally restored and living capital of Virginia ), and Monticello (The home of president and inventor, Thomas Jefferson).
The trips proved to be un- forgettable experiences and helped greatly to reinforce and bring to life the history course material.
