SENIOR GIRLS
The senior girls volleyball team had a lot of ex- penence and talent, but, unfortunately, size was the decidmg factor this year. Besides size the team was plagued with absences - Kim's knees. Heidi's allergies, Judy's illness, Mandy's trip · but no matter how many, the girls always made a fine show1ng. They participated m the Blue Mountain Invitational and the Bancroft and Eastview tournaments. After exams enthusiasm was running high and the gtrls went home tram Eastv1ew with the silver.
The gtrls f1nished the season in third place, in a very top-notch league however at zone, the girls were m a tough pool placing third next to the two eventual zone finalists. The girls tramed hard, played well and were enthusiastic off and on the court. We ex- penenced the thrill ot running in the pouring rain, witnesse<1 the change of a Miss Lakmg to a Mrs. Nichol and invented the dreaded SKIS' Next year the team will be missing many players and we'd like to thank them tor their leadership and dedication. So Laurie, Mary, Cindy, Heidi, Mandy goodbye and good-luck, we'll miss youII'
