DOWNHILL SKIING
Downhill Ski Team
On Wednesday, February 20, eleven schools took place in
the Georgian Bay Secondary Schools' Association Alpine Skiing Championships. This event took place at the Craigleith Ski Club.
The members of the C.C.I. girls' team were the top downhill skiers in the Georgian Bay area. Nicole Haiduk was the best of all. The girls team finished first with 16 points ahead of the

team from Barrie Eastview and Thornhill.
The C.C.I. boys' team placed third behind Barrie Eastview
and ahead of Thornhill.
C.C.I. combination team placing was second behind Barrie
Eastview and ahead of Thornhill.
The C.C.I. ski team had fun going from practices t o
championships and would like to thank Mr. Haiduk and Mrs. Plater for their support and help throughout the ski season.
