DESTINY OF A HEART OF STONE
I hear it echo in my head,
my heart of hope has now gone dead, my destiny deems unknown.
I cannot dig deep in my heart of stone.
What lies ahead for my heart of stone? What once was warm is now alone.
What can I accomplish? What can I do? My heart turned to stone when I lost you.
What used to shine, with a happy glow has left and gone not long ago.
I laugh no more, nor do I cry,
My heart of stone has shown me the lie.
I feel no pain, no grief or sorrow,
I live for today, not for tomorrow.
I have no feeling, my compassion is gone. It left with you and left me alone,
with a heart turned to stone.

DESTINY
It was strange how we met
It wasn't expected
We then became friends
And the bondage fastened
There was little room for obstructions We became a whole person together We laughed; we cried
We lived and loved
We shared and we strived
For this relationship to be everlasting
Yet, we didn't need to,
Everything seemed so natural, so perfect It wasn't merely fortune, it was something
much greater . . .
Just as the cocoon is destined to become a
butterfly, I too, was destined to be a part of you, and you a part of me.
By: Ruta Siuksteris RAINBOWS AGAIN
As I look back on yesterday,
I think of you in a different way.
Tears of sadness, tears of joy,
You were my one and only boy.
You made me laugh, you made me cry. Without you I thought I'd die.
Then came the day when you said good-bye. and thunder clouds filled the darkened sky. I'm older now and wiser too,
but my heart will always belong to you. Perhaps some day we'll love again
and the clouds will turn to rainbows then.
