Borders have truly disappeared since the foreign invasion. In three short months we travelled and learned about many new people, cultures, and life-styles.
I was born in Chile, (South America), lived in Argentina , moved to Africa for 7 years and have spent the last 2 years living in France. Although these countries seemed big to me, I realize now how small they are in comparison with Canada . It is big and beautiful, particu larly in the fall when the leaves change colour.
During the past 2 months of school, all the teachers, especially Mr. Chandler , Mr. Sneyd , and the French teachers were very helpful. I was impressed with the kindness and friendliness of C.C.I. Students. You are all great. Soccer was the extra-curricular activity I chose. We didn't have much success even though we had great coaches but we had a lot of fun anyway.
The knowledge I have gained from this personal ex- perience was a thousand times better than what I could have learned from a book. It was wonderful .. I wouldn't want to have missed it. Mercia tous.

My name is Franck Varin and I have been visiting C.C.I. for the past three months. My home is in Rauen, North of Paris (France). I have been on the Ministry student ex- change program. I have erijoyed meeting the students and staff and I have made many new friends. I hope to be able to return to Collingwood again . I was very pleased to be in Collingwood. I really had a great time at your school. I'm glad I got to know a new school system . There were so many things I had never seen before · lockers, muffins, the culture and all. I want to thank all those friends who helped me so that I'd be able to understand some things. It was such a short visit.
