TENNIS TEAM
Take warm weather, bright sunshine, varnet sunglasses, dark tans, Barb's laughter, Brad's kisses and 20 of C.C.I.'s beautiful people, mix them altogether and you get the successful 85-86 C.C.I. Tennis Team.
As a first year coach the team was very receptive to the new schedules. Michelle Hiltz was team representative and managed to keep me in line.
Returning champions Barb White and Heidi Schuller worked long mins.
and finished 2nd. in the zone trials. Brad Rich and Cindy Buchannan faultered in their attempt to win the gold , but did receive the ODD COUPLE award. Michelle combined poise and talent to win the zone trials and progressed to the GBSSA cham - pionship, where she finished just off the gold .
Our young members including Aaron Mather and Peter Gerain practiced hard and now are ready to take C.C.I. to even greater heights in 86.
