The History Club is currently in its initial stages of growth, but the founding fathers shown in the photograph are hard at work and confident that the club will carve its place into the annals of the great CCI. The meetings have dealt with such topics as 'The Closing of Collingwood Shipyards" and "The Role of the Museum in the Community". So history is alive and doing well at good ol' CCI!

Every week, members of CCI's busy Student Press Club scramble to prepare a sheaf of news releases about school activities for three local media. They work very hard to find time bet- ween classes and after school, to interview teachers and schoolmates and then they have to rush even more to write up their articles to meet media deadlines. Members of the Press Club are MARCUS ANDERSON , CAROLINE SILLIGMANN , KIM STEVENSON , NICOLE LEVESQUE , DOUG BIRTLES , SUSAN CAUGHILL, PAUL COLEMAN, ALFRED LIP AND LAURA MciNTYRE.
