The annual C.C.I. Athletic Banquet held in June of 1986 was once again tremendous success. The banquet high-lighted one of C.C.l.'s most suc- cessful athletic years which saw the school bring home 8 G.B.S.S.A. Cham- pionships. A brief summary of all 25 teams was presented and the G.B.S.S.A. champions were honoured with recognition certificates. Twenty Junior letters, eight Senior letters and four prestigious Major letters were awarded. The Major letter award winners were DENISE MINARDI, SHEILA MACLEAN, SUE PALMER, and CHRISTY LIOTTA. the Junior Athletes of the year were TODD GUZZWELL and BARB LINTON. The Senior Athlete of the year were DEREK PREZIO and SUE PALMER.
Kerry Fraser, a highly respected NHL referee, was the evening's guest speaker .
