An enthusiastk and talented group of veterans (lnd rookies Went through an undefeated season of 7 le<;~gue games and 2 play·off games. The championship game was played on a·cold, snowy field on November 15, ih front of an en· thusiastic hometown crowd. .
The OIA{Is had to dig deep to overcome a spi,rited te<~mfrom Innisda[e .by a 1~ to 3 score. One notable feature'of the game was the SHEFFIELD brother~, REG imd RAY, scoring all 15 points.

The Senior Girls Basketbqll sea.son has proven to be a great success with an im· 1:1ressive 9 win, 2 l()ss record in league and exhibition play. These girls ex- p~rienced a 59-30 win over Bradford which enabled them to proceed to the Simcoe County Championships.· ·
.. As well, t~e Senior Fighting Owls wrapped up a silver medal at the Colling\\I()Od Invitational after loosing ..a heartbreaking game by only one point to the strong Lotne. Park team. ·
With this team's abundance of skill, hvstle.and enthusiasm,they should have an excellent shot at the GBSSA Championship. ·
The C.C.L Junior Girls Basketball Team put together a winning season in· 1986. Although they Ciidn't win the league title, they ex- perienced several highlights some lopsided victories over a number of new .schools in the league and a consolation .cham- pionship in the Collingwood In- vitational Tournament. All te(lm members displayed spirit and had fun during the season.
Under the dual coaching of Mr. Beckett and Mrs. Stoutenburg, the Midget Girls blended into a good team. However, the season's record was not sufficent'to put the girls into the play-offs.
