The 1987-88 Prefect Organization con- sisted of over 50 enthusiastic senior students from C.C.l. The members of this group were chosen with respect to their contributions to the school- both athletic, academic and overall involvement.
Prefects, distinguished by their black and gold sweaters. performed various duties both during school hours and at dances to aid the well-being of the student body. By ensuring that the school rules were followed by the students, the Prefects were a very integral members of the school's organization . Derek Fryer and Jill Nebb, both grade 13 students. were the Head Prefect boy and girl. respec· tively, for this year.
From time to time, special events surfaced at C.C.I. such as open house, grade nine's initia- tion day. etc. By volunteering their free time, many of the Prefects offerred to do their best to help these happenings function as smoothly as possible.
