THIS PAGE - Many Undergrads enjoy the adventure that a new school offers. Students who enjoy computers, drama , and technical classes can gain some new experiences at C.C.I.!
No matter what grade you are in, the courses at C.C.l. offer a challenge to each and every student. Throughout the year, we are bombarded with essays, projects, tests, exams, labs and presentations - all in the name of education. For each member of the 'Fighting Owl' team however, the challenges offerred by school are varied.
Also the way in which we tackle a task varies with the individual.
Ask Jody Geddes what her favorite
school subject is and she will immediately
reply math. Why? She finds the class fun,
does well in this subject. However, she finds French a different story . . . but she prepares herself for the challenge by studying to music and having no interruptions. Chris Somerville, on the other hand, prefers to review his geography notes at his desk in a quiet at- mosphere and with no disturbances. I f Chris had a choice in adding a new course to the C.C.I. roster, he'd make it something in the field of banking. Perhaps that is because his favorite subject is accounting.
When Sheri Poser is given a creative writing assignment, a task she really enjoys , she can be found working in the kitchen and listening to music. She isn't quite so keen on math, however, for she finds that "numbers don't compute in my head!" Marlene Osbourne wishes that C.C.I. would offer a course that would strictly involve geography field trips . Have you considered this, Mr. Knox? Marlene has a word of advice for others when they are faced with those June finals - THINK POSITIVE!
