RECOGNIZING THE BEST
Twice a year, the staff and students at C. C. I. gather to formal- ly recognize and honour our many fine athletes.
The Collingwood Collegiate Ath- letic Awards Banquet was held on June 10, 1988 and, as usual, the evening was a resounding suc- cess. Guests were welcomed by/ Holly Williamson and then enjoyed a dinner provided by the Barn- board Restaurant.
The guest speaker was Kellie Casey, Member of the National Ski Team, Member of the 1988 Calgary Olympic Games Team and Former Collingwood Collegiate Student, who was introduced by Mr. Fischer.
Mr. Rhodes reviewed the year in Athletics at C.C.I., followed by the presentations to G.B.S.S.A. Cham- pions in Nordic Skiing, Badminton,
Track and Field and Wrestling.
