What a year in the music depart- ment!! At the beginning of t~eyear we welcomed our new addition to the music teaching staff ateO.C.L, Mr. McAndrew. His talept and dedication are a terrific asset to the. department! We started the ear off in high gear with the Mammoth Bazaar and Auction. With the help of the whole school we raised almost $8,000.00 to help get some

This year saw the formaron of a number of new groups in the depart- ment. In addition to the seni rband
and cho.ir, which had already ex- isted, the Junior Band, Jazz Ensem- ble, and Jazz Choir took shape. It was ter <ific to see these groups come t~gether through the hard work ard dedication of many student~.
This ¥ear was a year of many highlights around the music depart- ment. Our spring trip to Montreal was an experience that I doubt any of us wit! ever forget. - And all that fundrais ng?! The dinner concert, the dream auction. Another
