Even 'identical twins' are not exactly the same. True, we may occasionally come across another person that bears a strong resemblance to a famous face (after all, how many of us have confused our own Mr. Traynor with Slap Maxwell?), but when you delve deeper, dif- ferences begin to surface. We are most familiar with the fact that no one else shares our thumbprint, but did you know that the pattern of hair place- ment on your head is common only to you? Furthermore, any good mystery movie will tell you
that a hair, skin or blood sample can easily give away your identi- ty. With this Olympic year espe- cially illustrating the develop- ments in medical testing, a multitude of new individual characteristics arises.
