What a team! They won The Simcoe County League Championships and the Georgian Bay Championships to once again dominate the wrestling action in Georgian Bay. With a returning group of 4 students and a large group of keen rookies, this team turned hard work in- to outstanding successes. Six members - champions Marc Robinson, John Ward, Jay Grainger, Rob Tuersley and Chris Cleary were joined by 2nd Place finisher Darrin Stephenson to attend the OFSAA Championships in Windsor, Ontario.
Several of our wrestlers participated in the Ontario amature wrestling pro- gram and become eligible for the Cana- dian Championsh ips in Montreal, Quebec and Regina , Saskatchewan . This has been a year of great suc- cesses. Thanks go to our superb minor officials who again ran University &high school tournaments , the Ontario cham- pionships and the GBSSA champion- ships - a job well done!
