The C.C.I. Senior Fighting Owls had another great season, finishing the year 5-2, good enough for second place in a tough Simcoe County League. C.C.I. defeated Barrie Eastview in the semi-final only to lose 15-6 in the championship game. The championship game was one of the best in recent memory but unfortunately a controversial call went against C.C.I., leaving the defeat an even more bitter pill to swallow.
What a year: protests, hockey players, "Bite it Blondie", late quarterbacks, missed rules, initiation hair cuts, catches, drops, bruises, Z,s, runs, fumbles, parties, banquet, prima donnas, joy, tears!
It's never a dull moment when your associated with senior football..
