This year the '89 elections allow- ed the candidates to combine the past years' noisy assembly tradi- tion with the seriousness of the forma I speeches.
The candidates were given the opportunity to make noise on a Thursday morning and the next day they gave their serious speech to the voters. Voting took place that Friday at lunch and after school.
