A Message from Our Student's Council President or ...
Bird's Words
A Message From Carole Bird:
"Most people will agree when I say that you
have one distorted, but enthusiastic Student Council, bringing you such events as the spiritual pep-rallies, the great dances, some weird dating games and what about the un- forgetable 'David Wilcox' dance? You might have passed the Council room hearing loud music with 20 people playing baseball or basketball. It's true, we enjoy having a good time, but we do a lot of hard work to raise school spirit. Without Jay Grainger by my side, Steve Crowe controlling our finances, Jim Leithead in- forming you of the school events, Robin Milhausen typing those staff letters and running errands, Nikki Lovrics organizing the social ac- tivities, Rob Tuersley running the athletic events and our year reps, Brad Baumgarten, Gavin Mcleod, Melinda Burrell, Michelle Doupe and Chris Gibson keeping a personal touch with the students, I don't think the school year would have been so successful.
Student's Council hopes that we have made this year, a year you'll say, "IT WAS THE VERY BEST!". Just remember to have a great future, but most of all, have fun "my way" while doing it!
Thanks for a great year, Senate Members, Staff, Staff Advisors and most important of all, YOU, the students!"
Your 1989-90 President.
