The 1989-90 United Appeal week was a great success! Carole Bird was able to present a cheque for $2716.00 to the United Appeal chairperson.
Mr. French's homeroom raised the largest sum of money during this week. It seems that selling boxed lunches were pretty popular with the students of C.C.II
Many other homerooms participated in the excitement to help raise money for United Appeal and once again there was a multitude of events and contests. Mrs. Wilkin- son's class sold the ever popular cookie grams. Mr. Ben- nett's class sold tickets for a draw on free movie passes at Cinema 4, and a video gift certificate. Mr. Benbow's homeroom sold Wild Wally's Frozen Yogurt.
As a whole Collingwood Collegiate did exceptionally well at fundraising during the week for United Appeal.
