Colour this ... Novel!
The beginning of December not only brought a blanket of white snow to C.C.I., but also the introduction of a reading programme each morning before the an- nouncements. Halls were cleared as staff and students alike took their desks for 20 minutes of quietly reading a favourite novel or magazine. As well, a book sale was held in order to interest our popula- tion in the joy of reading. The opinions of what was a good book was varied as the choices ran from comics to that assigned English novel. One thing was most evi- dent- each day one could hear a pin drop during this time!
TOP ACROSS: Marc Allard is totally absorbed in his book while Chris Mercer feels this novel could have been a little more ex- citing. MID.: Adam Dinsmore + David Connors - What's in that little black book? Fred DeBoard + Sheri Poser brouse at a book fair. BOT.: Stan Flint appears to be slightly 'ho-hum' with his reading material while Karen Skeaff feels there is nothing like a good book.
