Once again, under the leadership of Mr. Sproule, the downhill skiers of C.C.I. were given the opportunity to hit the hills of Blue Mountain by join- ing the Collingwood Collegiate Ski Club. Mr. Sproule was quick to point out two very important aspects about this club. First of all, it is in its' 19th year of operation and secondly, it is the largest club at our school with a membership of about four hundred. For 8 Tuesday afternoons, staff and students alike were given the oppor- tunity to take lessons, practice ski skills, ski at night and participate in the annual Barbeque and Treasure Hunt as well as receive discount rates on lifts and rentals at other times. It was very obvious by the numbers and enthusiasm that this was ONE GREAT CLUB. We must extend a world of thanks to Mr. Sproule for all of his hard work that goes into its' organization .
TOP LT.: Rain on a ski day does little to dampen the enthusiasm of Mike Osbourne. MID. LT.: Andrew Mickelson feels a little guilty at being on the slopes in· stead of staying at C.C.I.???
