Question: What is easy to make and easier to break? Answer: A New Year's resolution! We start off each new year with good intentions , but sooner or later the enthusiasm wains and that promise to achieve some goal or stop some bad habit is broken . Perhaps because 1990 marks the beginning of a new decade, the students of C.C.I. might be more determined to keep those resolutions, but alas . . . Shawna Thompson met the new year with a promise to quit oggling guys in the halls and she kept to her word for the first week of January. However, she broke this vow the first day back to school. Furthermore , she adds that she just didn't break it a little, she was worse than ever! This ob- viously is a great compliment for all
of the C.C.I. males! Kim McCulligh decided to stop lending money to everyone. Did she live up to this goal? No, she lost her will power and lent money to a pair of notorious borrowers named Ron Pearson and Matt Sprecker. Kim, what made you weaken? " I felt sorry for these guys! " Chris Rattun was determined to quit smoking. However, he can
still be found out behind the tech.

Has she fulfilled her goal yet? Not
yet, but pay attention guys, she is
still looking! Cheri Auckland made
her resolution to lose about 15
pounds. Has she started yet? "No,
but maybe on Friday . . . or maybe
. .." Tracey Gardner had a unique
promise- never to makP. New Year's
resolutions . Sheri Culham's mom
made her resolution for her. She has
to keep her room clean and so far,
she has lived up to this expectation.
So far . . . Derek Seymour felt that
there was no need for himself to
make a resolution. After all, he was
perfect just the way he was!!! Jason
Noonan also agreed not to make a
resolution because " I never can
keep them anyway!" Jason Walt
vowed to get along better with his
parents and so far , he is doing well.
