The C.C.I. Outers Club (Mid. Lt.): was in- volved in several activities during the 1990-91 school year. These included a canoe trip, a backpacking trip, a cross country ski trip,and a camping/canoeing skills weekend as well as day activities such as swim tests, hikes and games.
The major excursion for the year is the canoe trip in the fall. This year, the Out- ers Club went to the northwest corner of Algonquin Park for a 4-day trip. During the trip, club members encountered rainy weather, but managed to have a good time anyway, especially during the campfire program. Club members also performed their good deed for the trip -they put out a smouldering brush fire on one island campsite.

With the departure of five graduating cyclists last year, the Curling Club (Bot. Lt.) is actively seeking new recruits for the upcoming season. In the faiL the club rides on rollers three times a week. This ensures that the members will be fit and ready for the 1991 season. Next spring a tour to Algonquin Park is planned. Members who race in the summer do so under the auspices of the Ontario Cycling Association and through membership in the Collingwood Cycling Club.
