The Games Club is an organ- ization that allows students to take part in strategic mind games and let their imaginations roam freely . Games such as 'Dungeons and Dragons' will us- ually be played and if you wish, the Dragon Master will gladly ac- cept you! All are welcome·and it happens every lunch hour in Room 126. We hope to see you there!

A group of 12 C.C.I. students called the Management and Ed· ucational Club of Canada Associated, or MECCA, travelled on Oct. 23 to the Toronto Regional Championships of Management and Entrepreneurship Educational Clubs of Canada Associated to compete against approximately 400 students from Toronto schools.
There the students were judged on their ability to handle difficult customer and employee situations while maintaining con- c e r n s f o r b u s i n e s s p r o f i t a n d c u s t o m e r l o y a l t y . S t u d e n t s f r o m C . C . I. did amazingly well. However. C.C.I. was over-represented with 9 finalists and 2 students that come in the top 3 of their event category.
The finalists were;
Brian Lougheed - Advertising and Display
Llynn Kehanovich- and James Saunders- General Merchandising Amanda Wakeford · Finance and Credit
Deric Smart - Vehicles and Petroleum Marketing
Todd Canning and Brandee Coleman- Hospitality and Tourism The top three results:
Tameez Sunderja (third) - Quick Serve Restaurant Management Andrew Hansen (second)- Hospitality and Tourism.
Being new to the organization, C.C.I. was given the right to send all MECCA members to the Provincial Competition at the Toronto Convention Centre in February.
Students finishing in the top two in their area of competition will qualify for the DECA championships in Denver, Colorado in ApriL. C.C.I. is currently in the process of organizing their own MECCA chapter to compete at the provincial level.
