The C.C.I. Senior Fighting Owls finished the season with a 5-1 record, good for second place in a tough nine team loop. High- light for the season was our last minute; we came from behind to win victory over Barrie North . This was North's only defeat all sea- son, as they went on to convin- cingly win the G.B.S.S.A. title . Injuries decimated the C.C.I. squad and we played the semi- final without four of our starting
lineman. In spite of some hard luck, we outscored our oppo- nents 149-79 and played only one poor game all season. Ten different players scored points,
eight different backs carried the ball, five different receivers caught passes for this well ba- lanced C.C.I. squad . As this arti- cle is being written, we are taking in equipment and plan- ning our banquet. Thanks for the successful year gentlemen, best of luck in the future.
